La poésie s’invite dans le réel. Elle le sublime, l’entrechoque, le bouscule. Aujourd’hui, dans les médias, un nouveau virus. Monkeypox. Encore une histoire de singes à l’heure du cryptocrash. Deux évènements, très différents, sans commune mesure, mais qui interrogent tous les deux l’attaque de notre besoin de sécurité dans un monde toujours plus fluide, changeant et imprévisible. Avec la couleur pop rappelant le monde insouciant des NFT et des Bored Apes, le détail d’une photo opensource de la variole du singe et un poème écrit et lu après la toute première discussion autour de la découverte angoissante de cette nouvelle maladie, le 20 mai 2022, je mêle dans ce « Monkeypox jour 01 » les paradoxes de notre modernité instable.

Poetry invites itself in the real. It sublimates it, clashes it, shakes it up. Today, in the media, a new virus. Monkeypox. Another story of monkeys at the time of the cryptocrash. Two events, very different, without common measure, but which both question the attack of our need of security in a world always more fluid, changing and unpredictable. With the pop color recalling the carefree world of NFT and Bored Apes, the detail of an opensource photo of monkeypox and a poem written and read after the very first discussion around the agonizing discovery of this new disease, on May 20th 2022, I mix in this « Monkeypox day 01 » the paradoxes of our unstable modernity.
